March 29, 2007, led by The Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, the "Industrial sub-contracting business alliance" members’ meeting & conference that composed of 11 China’s regional and industry Productivity Promotion Centers was held in Beijing. In the meeting, the Union passed the charter, and signed "the China union of industrial subcontracting and partnership exchange launching agreement”. At this point, the China Union of International Industrial Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange (CSPX) was formally established.
The international industrial sub-contracting has greatly promoted the rapid development of global trading and manufacturing by playing an important role in reducing costs, improving management and enhancing competitiveness of specialized production. The Union will set up an inter-regional, cross-industry technology information platform and network system, by making full use of domestic and foreign resources, playing the role of UNIDO and the China Productivity Promotion Centers and introducing the mode of SPX into China, to help the vast numbers of domestic SMEs optimizing production patterns in accordance with international standard, and at the same time, to enhance industrial competitiveness of Chinese enterprises, promote China's SMEs integration into the world economy as soon as possible and strengthen its status in international industry supply chain through guiding Chinese enterprises strengthening international cooperation, attracting foreign funds and using foreign technologies.
To 2010, the Union strive to build a coalition of network system that possess not less than 100 members and to service more than 100,000 member companies, under the guidance of the Ministry of Science and Technology and active participation and support of the Productivity Centers.
Following the date of the launching of CSPX, the CSPX Guangzhou Center is also officially established. CSPX Guangzhou Center formally approved by The Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, was established in the China National Appliance Productivity Center, focusing on providing SPX services to following sectors——household appliances, electrical accessories, motors and electronics, etc. by relying on the sectors, information, technology, personnel and industrial association platform of CEI and CVC. |
